Podcast
Keep your episodes consistent and engaging.
Overview
The temptation to keep a podcast conversational and free-form is an understandable one: it’s easy and requires minimal planning. When media is personality-driven, it's hard to see that its success depends on much more than the charm of the host. People listen to podcasts to add value to time that would otherwise be wasted on mundane tasks. They’re looking for entertainment, education, or both. Planning your podcast with an underlying structure allows your content and charisma to shine, and avoids lulls or confusion that may dissuade listeners from coming back for more.

This is the longest portion of the episode made up of many separate segments. Core topics are usually addressed on a per segment basis.
